Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or any milk of your choice
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag or 1-2 teaspoons loose leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup or a sugar-free sweetener to taste
  • Optional: pinch of lavender for garnish
  • Optional: steamed milk foam for topping or cream

Instructions
 

Brew the Tea:

  • In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a simmer. Remove from heat and add the Earl Grey tea bag (and lavender, if using). Let it steep for about 5 minutes.

Combine with Milk:

  • Add the almond milk into the tea mixture and warm it gently over low heat (do not bring it to a boil). Stir in the vanilla extract and honey or sweetener. Adjust to your sweetness preference.

Final Strain:

  • Once you’ve combined the milk and tea mixture, use a sieve to strain it to remove any lavender pieces for a smoother drink.

Froth the Milk (Optional):

  • If you have a frother, froth additional almond milk or cream and then add it on top of the tea for a light and airy texture.

Garnish (Optional):

  • You can sprinkle a little lavender or a dusting of cinnamon on top for added flavor and beauty. Enjoy!
